Why your body wash ingredients matter more than you think

The surfactants in conventional body washes — primarily sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulphate (SLES) — are highly effective at removing oils and debris, but they do so by disrupting the skin’s lipid barrier indiscriminately.
